Sign language training for GBV frontline social workers
Implemented basic sign language training for Gender-Based Violence frontline social workers from all 10 states and 3 administrative areas organized by the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare and supported by UNDP.
Modular trans-tibial prosthesis system
Provision of a modular system for trans-tibial appliances enabling the manufacture of lower-limb prostheses, in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare.
Assessment for DOP member
Assessment for DOP member for the five counties of central equatorial state. They include Lainya, Yei, Morobo, Kajokeji and juba county. The assessment done for the provision of assistive devices for executives’ member for Disabled People Organization (DPO) members only. This targeted thirteen executive members per county totaling to 65 persons with disabilities.
Assistive devices for Sudanese refugees
Carried out an assessment of persons with disabilities among Sudanese refugees in Gorom and delivered 9 wheelchairs together with white canes for blind beneficiaries.
Disability inclusion in MCH and ECD service
Comprehensive assessment of the status, needs and inclusion of persons with disabilities particularly pregnant women and children within Maternal & Child Health and Early Childhood Development services in Lakes State and selected counties of Warrap State.
